Local plan scoping consultation

Dear Sir,
I write to add my voice to those protesting about the above proposed development as a local resident.
Please look to develop brownfield sites and derelict high street property before plundering what little remains of our precious green spaces.
This site is especially rich in peat which has taken over 10,000 years to accumulate and mature. It is essential to the environment and once gone, it is lost forever.
The peat deposits help to reduce risk of flooding and are home to a huge array of wildlife, plants, bugs and birds which we should be working to protect.
I hope this plan will not be pursued as it would be so detrimental long term to the area and environment.
I trust my observations and objections will be noted and logged.
