I strongly object to this scale of development in Ashley.
All 4 roads to Ashley have narrow bridges & narrow/single lane sections with sharp bends. Are poorly maintained; surface water/potholes. Don’t cope with current traffic levels. Dangerous for cyclists now.
Ashley is Greenbelt forming sprawl buffer; comprised of top-tier BMV farmland. Fails Grey Belt test.
Ashely Station is not well connected; trains run hourly in each direction; unreliable and overcrowded; little scope for extra paths due to the freight activity.
Existing services not sufficient – sewerage/drainage always back up during rainfall. Water pressure fluctuates; overhead electricity supply can be unreliable.
