It might be national policy but that does not necessarily mean that CEC has to enact it for sites that are of local special interest such as Danes Moss. Danes Moss provides a green lung (and sporting facilities) in an area of increasing road traffic generated by closure of other local tips and new housing estates on Moss Lane and London Road. Increased traffic emissions are already impacting on pedestrians and residents.
