I want to object to the 291-hectare land submitted around Ashley. The village has no services, no buses and a station with just one train an hour, making it impossible to call Ashley “well connected”. I have serious congestion and infrastructure concerns for the amount of people who would move to the area. The land is all Green Belt and productive farmland, and the area includes sensitive landscapes, wildlife habitats and listed heritage buildings that would be permanently damaged. This site is completely unsuitable and should be removed from consideration. Green land and farms should be protected, not built on.
