The green belt land submitted from J16 of the M6 down the b5078 engulfing farmland and properties down Radway Green Road & into the village of Barthomley. Goes against the Green belt Policy of using grey belt first. Planning applications are in place for industrial units adjacent to Radway Green/Alsager on farmland and also on the Audley side of the A500.
If this is accepted as part of the new local plan it will mean the surrounding land around J16 to Alsager will be entirely Industrial units and green belt, farmland and properties destroyed in the beautiful village of Barthomley.
