Local plan scoping consultation

I would like to object to the proposal to build new homes on 291 hectare of land around Ashley. The village has no services, no buses and a station with just one train an hour, making it impossible to call Ashley “well
connected”. Every road into the village crosses a narrow bridge, so any large development would create serious congestion and safety problems on what is already a dangerous road due to people overtaking cyclists at inappropriate places. . The land is all Green Belt and productive farmland, and the area includes sensitive landscapes, wildlife habitats and listed heritage buildings that would be permanently damaged. This site is completely unsuitable and should be removed from consideration. I am a resident of Hale who regularly uses this road and walks the many footpaths in this area. Where are we going to grow food if agricultural land is all developed on?
