Local plan scoping consultation

Hi,
Our comments are as follows:
1 Our concern is that the new plan is designed to deliver to enough planning permissions into 2045 based on a 5 year national house building target of 1.5m houses. Industry experts are stating that this target will not be met (and targets of this size cannot be achieved with the current national construction infrastructure) Therefore these targets will shortly be reduced by central government.
The answer would to be to take a time out on the process for 12 months, so the plan can understand and then accurately reflect the true needs going forward into 2045.

2 We are also concerned that no plan has been put forward for the additional school places, leisure and medical facilities that development on this scale would create the demand for.
The answer would be to provide a comprehensive, funded proposal for schools leisure and medical facilities as part of the New plan process.
