I strongly object. The site is Green Belt, forming a vital anti-sprawl buffer between Hale/Trafford and Knutsford/Mobberley. It fails the Grey Belt test: open, working farmland makes no negligible contribution to Green Belt purposes. Ashley is a Tier 3 rural parish lacking public transport and infrastructure, contrary to settlement hierarchy and sustainable development policy. Rural lanes, narrow railway bridges and the congested A538/M56 cannot safely absorb generated traffic. The proposal causes permanent loss of BMV farmland, harms the setting of Grade II listed buildings and Local Landscape Designations, and lacks schools, healthcare and drainage capacity. Refusal is strongly urged.
