Danes Moss is a sensitive area of land it has a diverse variety of wildlife and should not be built on or part of the local plan for building.

Currently 600 empty houses in Macclesfield plus many abandoned mills these could be renovated for use as housing instead of building on farm land.

Application 21/4113M. This land is green belt used as farm land. It is not a neglected or obsolete or brownfield space. Underlying is peat bog which is critical to the environment
And appears to be linked to Danes Moss. This supports a number of wetland plants. Any building here could lead to dewatering and degradation of peat layers causing structural land instability and ecological damage. The loss of hedgerows and open fields would harm local biodiversity and wildlife corridors. Local infrastructure already hard pressed Doctors schools
Drainage networks. There’s no guaranteed infrastructure upgrades to offset strain on communities. .
