It is unacceptable for areas surrounding Danes Moss (including the area of land indicated on the plan, off Moss Lane) to be targeted for development. The land is sat on sensitive peat moss, and has a high value with respect to biodiversity.

Land sited between Sutton and Macclesfield should be protected from development in order to protect against urban sprawl and the merging of settlements.

Townhouses with limited footprints should be favoured and wherever possible these should be built on brownfield sites.
