Local plan scoping consultation

To whom it may concern,

I formally and strongly object to the 291.03-Hectare Ashley Submission (12 sites) in the Cheshire East SHELAA. These sites must be classified as Unsuitable and Undeliverable.

Reasons for this are:

1. Green Belt Breach: The land is strategic "washover" Green Belt land, preventing sprawl between Greater Manchester and Cheshire. The land therefore fails national "Grey Belt" release criteria.
2. BMV Agricultural Loss: It would irreparably destroy Grade 2 and 3a Best and Most Versatile farmland, which is protected for food security.
3. Hierarchy and Infrastructure: The sites are unsuitable, rural locations lacking transport, utilities, surface water drainage, and basic services
4. Heritage and Safety Harm: The submission conflicts with aviation safety zones, exacerbates River Bollin flood risks, damages ancient woodlands, and damages 19 Listed Buildings.
