The land East of Byrons Lane is green belt and should not be considered for housing. There is a substantial wildlife community including herons, pheasants and geese present, and the grassland provides much needed animal food.
Furthermore the area has already contributed to the need for extra housing with significant developments on Gunco Lane, Langley and Gaw End Lane leading to increased traffic on Byrons lane. No extra infrastructure has been provided for these additional houses and further development will only increase the burden on the area.
