Good afternoon

We have read the proposals on your website and seen the map containing parcels of land which could be developed.

We understand that more housing must be built in Cheshire East but we note that there seems to be a disproportionate amount of potential sites in the Crewe, Sandbach and Congleton areas compared to other parts of the the borough.

Therefore we call upon you as our elected representatives to ensure fairness in the distribution of new building.

Also, much of the development seems to be on open countryside - surely there are brownfield options which should have primary consideration.

It is disappointing that the Local Plan is going to take so long to complete as new, speculative planning applications appear to be submitted every week and local residents' wishes overruled by non-elected property developers.
