I would like to object strongly to this housing plan. As a resident all we ever see is plans for houses nothing to assist with the increase in residents. At the moment we don’t get our essentials done as promised e.g bin collection, potholes , long delays in getting road works finished, seeing a local GP, having water without untited utilities blocking roads with tankers to fill water systems, lack of shops and other amenities etc etc. These essentials are always overlooked by developers who want to make profit on just highly expensive homes.
There is enough brown field sites to make small developments while being able to increase amenities.
Look at those delapidated old mills lying derelict on the road from the football stadium. Why nothing being done about those as a development area for example.
