BLAKELOW ROAD & BUXTON OLD ROAD

Good afternoon,

With regards to the potential development of this area, we strongly disagree to a new Housing Development been built on this site. This is part of Macclesfield Green Belt which will have a significant negative visual impact on the landscape and the character of the surrounding area. The council needs to consider the development of brownfield and greenfield sites before considering the development of Green Belt Land.

This would also bring many new vehicles, clogging rural lanes and local junctions that were not built for extra numbers and put an added strain on the local primary school.

We have lived at this address for the past 35 years we have a beautiful view of the fields and see many different wild life species, a housing estate would cause direct habitat loss.
