I find it difficult to understand the proposal to build properties in Ashley to the extent suggested.
It is green belt,prime agricultural land,and a buffer between Manchester and Cheshire. It is a flight path close to Manchester Airport.The roads are a designated cycling route,narrow and totally unsuitable for the amount of traffic that already used them.There are no local schools,doctors,shops or other necessary facilities.
I agree that houses have to be built somewhere but what is being proposed is a New Town and Ashley is not the place.
My vote is NO.
