To whom it may concern,

Really disappointing to see proposed new plans for using green belt land along Blakelow Road.

There are so many brownfield sites in Macclesfield that should be considered for development ahead of Greenfield sites like the one proposed.

This will significantly impact negatively on the visual character of the area. Many people use Leadbeaters reservoir to exercise, walk dogs and fish.

The elevated area in question would be particularly bad for necessitating raising any new developments high up due to the hilly landscape. Ensuring any new housing would be a domineering eye sore.

We urge you to reconsider.
