The first thing that matters is the considered use of greenbelt land within this plan.
I note that the greenbelt land off Blakelow Road has been suggested by a developer.
The greenbelt land was initially set up to ensure that there would always be green spaces within and around built up areas.
Consideration needs to be given to brownfield and greenfield sites before development of green belt sites. Removal of Green Belt land will have a negative visual impact on the landscape.
