I cannot believe that the land in between Blakelow Road & Buxton Old Road in Macclesfield is being reviewed for potential development, this is green belt land. Why would you choose this piece of land when there are Brownfield sites that have not been developed. This will significantly impact the landscape and character of Macclesfield.
Macclesfield is currently a lovely countryside town, but I find it deeply distressing that you are even considering to develop this beautiful green belt land.
What will we actually have left if you are considering to develop this beautiful green belt land? Animals graze on these fields and I regularly see wildlife living in these fields, frogs, birds, bats, livestock to name a few!
What will our future look like if you just feel like to can develop any green belt land you see fit? We will end up living in a concrete jungle.
