Local plan scoping consultation

I want to object to the change of greenbelt land, particularly land adjacent to Bullocks Lane. It would be a travesty to build on there. Beautiful open fields. Why do we need so many more houses, there were 100s built on Lyme green. We have to draw the line at some point.
The council are so short sited, the town centre is failing, it’s too expensive for local business to survive, parking charges put people off.
The land where Lidl is being built could have been housing, then Lidl could have gone where marks used to be.
Or look at developments like where Gradus was. Redevelop brown field sites within and around town.
