Once again the humble council tax paying resident of Cheshire East has to start emailing objections and no doubt going on demonstrations to reiterate our objections to the Cheshire East council’s desire to destroy the county countryside for the greed of developers. Nothing has changed since the last STOP ADLINGTON NEWTOWN campaign had Adlington being destroyed with a lunatic 20,000 new home scheme. The Green belt is still green and when not active farmland it is still hosting flora and fauna. The Local infrastructure that supplies, water, sanitation, medical centres, hospitals, roads, schools, employment, food, etc has not changed, and neither has the population. So the unnecessary need for more new housing for the local populace is nothing more than vandalism, and developer greed, and hopefully it is not supported by Cheshire East council who are paid by the residents to represent THEM, and protect these services.
