Concerned regarding proposals for significantly increased housing in Mobberley. Mobberley is a small village with very few amenities, poorly maintained roads, and a small school that is already managing excess demand due to the closure of Alderley Edge Girls School. An increase in traffic and residents would overwhelm the village and amenities. Additionally, the proposed site opposite Pavement Lane has a public footpath, many great oak trees, hedgerows home to wildlife, drainage issues, and is not accessible via any main road. It is a precious greenbelt site that is not suitable for housing development.

I ask that you retain CFS26 373, the land opposite Pavement Lane in Mobberley, as Green Belt and prioritise other brownfield and non-green belt sites. Mobberley's rural character should be protected. This land is home to established hedgerows, mature oak trees and roosting wildlife making it unsuitable for development. Mobberley is a small village with limited infastructure such as the small local school and doctors surgery, and roads that are already in dangerous disrepair that simply could not cope with more vehicles and more traffic.
Excessive noise from over-passing air traffic must also be a consideration for this particular land.
