For all developments it must be ensured that the infrastructure in the area can handle the increased load. Logic historically has been build the houses, then consider upgrading roads etc. More houses = more traffic = more requirements for roads, healthcare, schools etc. The issue isn’t the houses being built, it’s the order in which the development is completed. Infrastructure MUST be put in first, not as an afterthought, or on a lesser (cheaper!) scale than advertised as this involves, understandably, road closures etc but now with more people as the ‘new’ houses have already been filled. INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST!!!!
