Regarding any development in the Mobberley area: United Utilities have been unable to provide adequate water pressure (due to new leaks on the main road nearly every week) and more recently the sewage works have been overwhelmed and a stream of tankers was required to deal with the issue. On top of this the local primary school cannot deal with the current number of children living in Mobberley and the main road through Mobberley is already catered by potholes that constantly reappear due to the heavy traffic, the narrow country lanes are also not ideal for dealing with heavy traffic. The entire road network, school and water pipes and sewage works would all need major work for them to cope with any significant number of new houses.
