I object to the promoted housing sites within Mobberley. Each site is unsuitable for allocation in its own right because of its impact on the Green Belt, open countryside and the rural character of Mobberley. Previous Cheshire East planning evidence has identified significant constraints, including Green Belt function and aircraft noise from Manchester Airport. Exceptional circumstances to justify Green Belt release have not been demonstrated. Collectively, these promoted sites would further erode the village’s character and setting. I respectfully request that none of these sites is taken forward for allocation in the emerging Local Plan.
