All weather foot paths, cycle ways and rights of way avoiding physical dangers from vehicles and air pollution needed linking Wilmslow to Knutsford via Mobberley. This would provide a much safer environment and encourage physical activity for local residents, particularly for children and older people.

Any development of housing must take account of the constant noise caused on the flight path between Manchester Airport and Knutsford. The physical and mental health impact cannot be over emphasised. The temptation that such locations could be suitable for affordable housing and traveller sites should be avoided.
