This 'scoping' consultation will already provide evidence as to whether or not your key principles and methodology for community engagement is a yielding both the quantitative and qualitative outcomes you envisaged and or required at this first stage. When the current local plan was consulted upon and formulated one of the most committed and continuous engagement was through community groups established in a number of towns/districts. It was through these local community groups that residents in the town were kept up to date and engaged in the process.
