4 parcels of land north of J16 are included as proposed employment sites on Greenbelt. The sites do not meet the criteria for grey belt as on the approach to a historic village, neither is there a shortfall of employment land nearby. We request there removal from the register as the process continues.
Greenbelt is is there for a purpose and no amount of mitigation should override the basic reason for it's creation originally.

4 parcels of land on either side of the B5078 north on J16 have been submitted in the call for sites for employment on land that is Greenbelt. This land does not meet the criteria for grey belt as it provides 'the setting and special character of a historic village'. There is no shortfall of business space in this area and it currently is valuable farmland that that this country now more than ever needs to retain.
It's only access for a 28 hectare site would be onto a B road that is already beyond it's capacity and would create a danger to road users and the public. Private residencies are within the boundary which would be destroyed, a situation the site owner cannot override for economic gain.
