It is of crucial importance for CEC to urgently update its own seriously out of date figures for Received PP applications, brownfield land identified and call for sites responses. This must be done at pace and an INTERIM position informed to central government to stop the free for all in developer grabs for greenbelt!!

It is of crucial importance for CEC to urgently update its own seriously out of date figures for Received new PP applications, banked approvals, brownfield land identified in the register and since, and the very latest " Call for sites " responses.

This must be done at pace and an INTERIM POSITION informed to central government to stop the free-for-all in developer grabs for greenbelt.

This must be done this year, not left to wait until 2028!

Government must be willing to accept updated figures on an interim basis where statutory notices and consultation periods mean that full new Local Plans will take up to 2 more years.
