I oppose the proposals in Disley for the following reasons :
1. Disley has already been subjected to a new housing estate (Waterside) in recent history.
2. The current volume of traffic along the A6 is untenable.
3. The pollution in our village. I dread to think what my family breathe in every day to and from school.
4. Disley school is already oversubscribed- my son had to go to Newtown, New Mills school instead.
5. Walking anywhere from our house is (along the A6) is terrifying, too many cars and wagons going 40mph.
