The two sites Greenbelt sites on Hall Hill in Bollington represent your three statements below.
Greenbelt land was put in place many years ago to do these three specific jobs. This protection has worked successfully.

1) Checking the unrestricted sprawl or large built-up areas.
2) Preventing neighbouring towns from merging.
3) Preserving the setting and special character of historic towns.

Bollington has been an industrial town which has always built more than its share of housing over the years. The brownfield mill site along with 3 other sites on Albert Road will cover the new housing numbers expected of Bollington.
